The MEF today announces that PCCW Global has become the world’s first service provider to receive MEF 100G CE 2.0 certification for E-Line and E-Access services. The certification represents a milestone for the industry, as the previous upper limit for MEF CE 2.0 services certification was 10G per second.

PCCW Global’s worldwide network passed rigorous testing procedures covering a full set of 100G service attributes, including performance and bandwidth profiles. Compliance testing and certification was performed by Iometrix, the official test lab of the MEF.
